Reviews and Ratings
The Cumberland Lodge has a beautiful location with amazing views and is close to the falls, which we enjoyed visiting multiple times. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the restaurant offered a nice buffet that our kids liked. However, the rooms felt a bit cramped for our family, and we encountered some maintenance issues that needed addressing. Overall, it's a lovely historic lodge that needs some updating.
We had a pleasant stay at the cabin, enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings and a cozy fireplace. While the cabin was clean and comfortable, it did feel a bit dated. The breakfast options were minimal due to renovations, and the location had limited activities during winter. Overall, it was a nice getaway with opportunities for hiking and enjoying the nearby falls, but the amenities were lacking during our visit.
My recent stay at the park hotel was mixed. While the staff was genuinely friendly and the views from the back porch were lovely, the rooms and overall facilities desperately need updates. The experience felt more like a camp than a resort, and the lack of amenities at this price point was disappointing.
Staying at the Dupont Lodge was quite an experience. The beautiful surroundings and the close proximity to Cumberland Falls make it a nice getaway. Our room was lovely and clean, but it felt a bit dated. The dining was enjoyable with great food and a magnificent view, although a few hiccups with service were noticeable. Overall, the lodge offers excellent value, but updates in the room decor would really enhance the experience.
This lodge offers a unique blend of classic charm and modern amenities, making it a wonderful getaway spot. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful forest views. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the internet service could be better. The dining experience at the buffet is delicious and definitely worth indulging in, although it can be easy to overdo it with so many tempting choices.
